
Area specific, long-term, interdisciplinary project geared toward community, education and story sharing. The Ida May Project chronicles a family’s determination to rebuild a boat, the history and importance of the skipjack and the commercial fishing industry to the eastern shore of Maryland while investigating the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay. It is comprised of a weekly blog, an audio/visual installation, a documentary film, and a community outreach program.
