passing apparitions

This live cinema performance takes its inspiration from Guy Debord’s idea of finding the secret “Northwest Passage:” a mysterious portal discovered in seemingly familiar terrain that leads to a completely unexpected experience of reality. In this piece, we explore
the idea of psychogeography through experimentation with site, sound and video in real time. In our interaction with
the present moment we use the realm of sensation and feeling to construct quasi-perceptual experiences that appear on our
shared “stage” of consciousness. Performed as part of The Drift Project curated by Brinson Renda.
